  1. Hey all, sorry for the novice question but I've seen a few times where someone will be holding a screen next to or behind the steadicam operator. What is the purpose of this? It doesn't appear to be affecting light from what I can tell. I've attached a BTS pic from The Intern as an example. Thanks!
  2. It may be your GoPro frame rate differs from the frame rate of your timeline. If so you need to confirm it with Frame Blending or Optical Flow.
  3. Hi all! I'm shortly embarking on my first short film and I'm looking for recommendations for a basic lighting kit. I'm hoping for something fairly adaptable to most situations and reasonably portable. The film will have a fair amount of night shots where they are walking outside by moonlight so it would be great to have something that would help pull this off also. Thanks for your advice.
  4. Having been on set for your second photo- there was no diffusion being used here. In fact there was very little used throughout that whole section of the shoot.
