  1. Hi,

I was curious, what is max that I can push from (I'm not afraid of grain, but I need decent image, and OK dynamic range):

    1. Fresh FUJI 8547 ETERNA VIVID 500T

    2. Old FUJI 8570 500T (Maybe someone has Idea when they discontinued 8570, I haven't found any info on that.)

    3. Kodak V2 100T 5212 from 2012

    4. fresh Kodak V3 5213 200T

    thank you

  2. Hi,

Soon we are shooting a short film on V2 5205 250D shortends from various movies shot in our country. I tested the stock, exposed every reel(10 reels) on 125 ASA and did 0, +1,+2,+3;-1,-2,-3; We developed it in C41 (removed remjet first in Alkaline) with no pull or push, just regular ( 3:15min; 3:30min,4min)

Film emulsion is really really thin and there are really not much details in the frames. Should I try pushing it one stop in developing, exposing it at ASA 50, ASA25 and so on?

Also, I'm going to send it to the proper lab for real development when shooting is finished but now I'm thinking what to do.

I wish we could develop tests in the real lab, but there's no lab in our country, so that makes the testing really difficult.

    Thanks for any replies.

  3. Hi,

I built two SLA 2x12v 7ah battery packs with 10A fuse and voltimeter, as suggested in this forum, thanks:)

Now I have a question- What's the voltage range for Moviecam SL? How high or how low the voltage can be so that camera could run from it? And how not to ruin it? How long will SL hold on one fully charged pack? Or should I use voltage regulator?

    Thanks!

I like Bergman and Tartovsky and Kurosawa. Slow is not a problem. But time is weight in film and only very strong shots - both aesthetically and in terms of meaning - can survive for the durations that you attempted. Long shots don't create poetic cinema by themselves; that shot duration is something that you can attempt when everything else is right - I'd suggest that it is something you gradually have to work up to.

I agree. Thanks, it's a pleasure for me that you took your time watching and expressing your thoughts, I really appreciate that!

    Thanks again,

  5. Hi, fellows!

Shot it but also helped to direct with my mum.

The Idea was pitched in two days, the film was shot in 7 hours, sculptures were made in 4 days, the whole thing was edited color corrected in two days. It was a good experience. Waiting for your opinions:)

p.s. first time working with raw, haven't figured out how to birng back those extreme highlights in the sky..

    Thanks!

  6. In cyrilic alphabet C is S so the mount should be called OST, not OCT, it's a mistake that's everywhere in the internet:)

Yes, I know, I was just hoping, that maybe someone just has it used and want to sell it for less than 300 usd (for the better adapter I linked in the post).

    Thanks anyway:)
