Hey everyone, I'm going to be shooting some drone footage in a few weeks of a backyard, and the idea is that there would be a layer of fog on the ground to make the setting seem like some kind of alien landing. I'm going to be shooting this in the summer in the US, so pretty warm temp wise, so if I did have a fogger and put it through a chiller would it even lay down in such a hot environment? Whats the best way to achieve this?

So about to do some tests with this camera. The ASA dial has a red dot and a white dot, I assume one is outdoor and one is indoor? The manual talks about setting the opposite ASA if you wanted to use a tungsten film outdoors, what would that be? In terms of the internal filter, if I put the key in the base, that disables it correct? Just trying to see if I was going to do an tungsten test what settings I need to have to be most successful. Just got one of these, the included charger has a switch with a 110 and 220 side- does it matter which I use? Can't seem to find any literature that explains the difference. I'm assuming voltage?

So somehow managed to break probably one of the most trivial pieces. The spindle of this Chinon dual whisper has a little metal arm you swing down to hold the reel in place. See the picture below. Good point I didn't think about the pistol grip. I have a canon 814 which allows it to be folded out of the way which would work, but others I have do have a pistol grip.

I got a great deal on an S800, and was able to get the battery to work. When I test the shutter without film, it seems like it only advances one frame. Do I have one of the CR levers set wrong or is that normal if no film is in? Battery meter, zoom etc all seem to work. Second question- probably obvious but can you switch a cart in the middle of it? Might try to evaluate some different cameras and not sure the effect of removing a cart before its finished and inserting in another camera. Thanks.

Quick question...I have purchased some 50D negative stock from Pro8mm. Is this safe to scan through an airport x-ray? Most film is now a days, but wanted to confirm before I make the decision. Thanks for your help!

I I think I did...but I'll have to check again when I'm back to the camera. Is there a way to improve the connection between the contacts and camera? Some conducting material perhaps?

Unfortunately the battery light does not come on, despite the motorized zoom working. Lightmeter does not respond, however I can adjust the EE but it doesn't seem to go past 2 (maybe 4 I'm away from it and can't remember). I'd have to double check the reverse/forward switch, but the shutter does not activate when I press the button. I cleaned all the battery contacts as well, but it does appear there is some very minor corrosion.

Hi all, So I got what I thought was a good deal for Nikon R10 that said it was untested, hoping to get lucky. Unfortunately there is some problems with the camera I need your help diagnosing to see if it's worth repairing or if I should just try to re-sell. When I put batteries in the camera, the only electrical piece that works is the slow zoom. No lights etc. The other issues is it looks like there are some kind of spots on the lens, but beneath the main glass. Is this worth repairing? Thanks all. JW

Is their a better reversal stock? The fun of home projection and ease of transferring make it appealing.

Hi all, I got a Canon Autozoom 814 some time ago and couldn't remember if I ever tested it so shot some film on Echtachrome 100d (had a few boxes left, but not refrigerated). I was really surprised by how well the color looked (this was a home transfer on dslr) but it seemed to be shaking a lot for being shot on a tripod. Is this a problem with the camera's registration?
