  4. Brawler is a martial arts action short film shot on the Panasonic Lumix S5. This was the first time I/we used this camera system. Always been a fan of the full frame look, but never the full frame price 😁 After a lot of researching and countless video reviews/examples, everything pointed to this camera. And I've got to say, It didn't disappoint! For anyone interested, we also have an IMDb page: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt32454678/ Happy to answer any questions you may have about the camera, filming and post production side of things. 8. For anyone interested in the color grade plugin Dehancer and how the color grading controls work. Maybe I should have a 'Sh**ty Tutorial' series on YouTube? ? ? Bulent w: https://bulentfilms.yolasite.com/ ig: https://www.instagram.com/bulent0z/
  9. Had a chance to film super quick improv short film with the Fujifilm XH2s the other day. Now I wouldn't say I have an "obsession" with the anamorphic look, more like a raging fascination with the aesthetics ? Shot in 6K open gate mode. Color grade in DaVinci Resolve using a combination of LUTs byBoz™ and Dehancer. The Flog 2 footage held up well considering how destructive the color grading was. Not that you can tell with the "amazing" YouTube compression ? Thoughts? Bulent w: https://bulentfilms.yolasite.com/ ig: https://www.instagram.com/bulent0z/
  10. I really liked reading the detailed break down, especially the horizontal streak break down! Thanks. The cam was def being pushed to its limits in terms of ISO and DR. Do you own or have used the BMPC4K?
  11. Ah, ok. I understand. Absolutely! Same personal preference. I think that's a really great way to discover, re-use and adapt equipment. I've experimented quite a bit with adapters, own cameras etc and sometimes... Just sometimes I discover something cool ?
  12. I can def see the character/potential of the combo! Like I said before, never heard of the sandwich method till you mentioned it. Do you think similar results would occur if the 1.33x adapter was mounted to the front of the 2x anamorphic adapter rather than the rear of the taking lens? Not sure of the maths in terms of squeeze/desqueeze factor though ? Thanks for your really insightful and detailed posts. Much appreciated ?
  13. For sure. So interesting. Appreciate it ?
  14. Thanks for sharing these. I'm sure the YouTube compression doesn't really do it any justice! I'm def gonna need to do some further experiments ?
  15. Thanks, Abdul. Appreciate your feed back. Do you think think it would've been a little less bothering had his head cleared the light before the cut?
