  1. Im looking into purchasing the ARRI ALEXA High Speed Camera Body. The camera has 4000 hours of sensor hours. My question is, is that a lot of hours? and what is the average cinematic camera sensor life span?
  2. Hello, Im a DPing a short student movie and the Director wants to shoot the movie in Black and White. After doing some research on how colors can increase and decrease the contrast the contrasts of the light units, I'm a little bit torn on what units to use in terms of lighting. I have access to HMI Jokers (800,400), Arri baby, OFT kits, and Kino flo light. My questions would be, does anybody have experience on how to use colors in order to create different contrast ratios? Moreover, would an HMI give a different contrast than a Tungsten light? Thanks. Vatche
