  1. I just bought a 5mm 1.9 digiprime and I have it fitted to my ZCAM E2 S6 that has a super16mm crop mode and I'm using it with an adapter that does not have a prism or glass. It still shows the image circle on the left and right sides of the frame. I'm curious if the original Blackmagic Pocket and Micro have the same issue. I will experiment on those next week. From 1.9-2.8 it has that hazy effect we've read about. Artistically it could be used for an effect (think Euphoria and any extreme pro-mist scenario) but at 3.5 it virtually goes away. If they're saying you lose several stops with the adapter, it doesn't really matter because you'll be at f4 with this thing anyway. As far as its quality goes people are not lying. Its lack of distortion is incredible. The Laowas and Voigtlanders have a lot of imperfections in their blacks and the edges of the lens feel like they're moving faster than the center, some may like that character, I however wanted the Fallen Angels look and this lens, even though not as wide, does fit that look. To use this on S35 with an adapter that costs several grand you're better off getting the Tegea 9.8mm. What I'm curious about is how it performs on 16mm film. Does anyone know if it renders on film the same way it does on CMOS?
