I would even rate it at 50 and develop it normally. After scanning and grading you will have more flexibility with shadows. Don't worry about highlights, film will take care of it easily.

I've had the issue with quarz ds8 soviet cameras. I sent them to my trusted tech. He told me he just cleaned it very well inside and now they are working perfectly. Soviet made are very sturdy and, according to him easy to repair.

Hello, I own a set of Zeiss ZF which i use for cinematography. I love the microcontrast / image fidelity / background separation / 3d pop effect... as you want to name it. I infer that lenses with less than 7-9 eelements will enhance the effect. However some Zeiss wide angles have more elements and a phenomenal pop like the Distagon 25mm f2.

This is my favorite feature of lenses. I privilege microcontrast way more than sharpness or corrected aberrations. I haven't tried voigtlander lenses but I know they have similar rendering. Do you know other lenses —excluding the super expensive ones— that have high microcontrast? I would like to buy more lenses like this.

I use a Kern Switar 25mm f1.4 since the viewfinder corresponds to that focal distance.

Hello everybody. I work a lot with my FS7. I wish I could place the hand grip just to the side of the body like the FS5. I really do not use nor like the arm attached to the hand grip. Anyone has a solution to adapt the handle to the arri rosette in the body?

I don’t use fomapan chemistry, I use a mix of Kodak and self made. However I develop around 300 ft per ½ a gallon. 

I want to share two short film-postcards filmed with, as the title says, the expired Fuji 8632 Super F Series 125T and a  1950s Keystone Criterion A-9. Both were developed by made with homemade ECN-2 process.

I've never used QWD but I've had a similar problem before. I mix my own ecn2. When it happened I figured out that I needed to wash more after the stop bath. Try using a stop bath after developer, wash very well and then proceed. I think those stains happen when bleach meets developer.
