  1. Hello everyone! Retro vibe, huge grain and very specific color imbalance. All these are the characteristics of Adox Color Implosion film. And trust us, you can achieve very similar analog spirit with Dehancer plugin (even if it’s shot on iPhone). 2. Hello everyone! The final part of the video-course by Pavel Kosenko is out on our channel. Color wheel is one of the most popular concepts when it comes to color harmony. It is believed that, on this wheel, colors are located in a special way. And if they balance each other out and add up to a neutral color, then they are harmonious. That's fake news. In this video we're debunking the color wheel myth, and share the tips and tricks to actually harmonise colors. Take notes.
  3. Hello everyone! We just published a new video about the halation effect, where we explain what it is and why it's so important to use when imitating a film image. At the end of the video, we will demonstrate how this can be done using Dehancer plugin, but we believe that information about its nature will be useful to every photographer or videographer, not just for those interested in film emulation, for a couple of reasons: •Halation is much more complex and doesn't only appear around the light sources. •Halation can make skin tones more attractive and natural. Because of the differences between the C-41 and the original ECN-II processes, Cinestill recommends to expose the modified film as ISO 800 (instead of 500). Cinestill differs from the original, untreated film in grain, obvious halation, higher contrast, cool

  6. Hello guys! As you know, Dehancer was created based on the analog photography principles and we invest a lot of time and effort into the research and development, so that all our features and tools are as authentic as possible. Grain is one of these tools that required a profound understanding of how film works. Film grain imitation usually comes down to one of these approaches: Scanned grain overlay; Grain generation. In this video we'll take a look at each one of them and explain why Dehancer plugin allows to achieve more authentic results. Enjoy!
