  1. This is great, thanks for the link to your site ... I have been playing around with still film and video for a little while but earlier this year I bought a Bolex totally out of the blue - no idea of film costs, but since then I've scored myself 20,000ft of Plus-X ($100US ) and am planing to make a short or two (or three) with it - Its great to see other productions using the same gear - and your stills help me think about the look Im after, I may well try shooting at 100 also - excellent work thanks, nick
  2. Dune  Bladerunner I cant help myself with Empire and Return of the Jedi The Blues Brothers.. hmmmm Russian Ark I saw about 5 times in theatre Waking Life is probably third after Dune and Star Wars et al
  3. A film shot and presented in portrait aspect (higher than it is wide) - 'sideways' is what most people would call it ... instead of 1.66 it would be more like 0.602 "from Eno turning a video monitor on its side in a New York loft, to the realisation of a new form of artwork for public spaces." cheers for the response - Perhaps I was being a bit sparse in my description (; Nick
  4. I'm interested in making one maybe (16mm camera) - wanted to see what else was out there ... only example I know of is Mr Brian Eno: http://vs2.i-dat.org/unstructured/eno1.html any ideas on the logistics of presentation ? cheers! nick
