I just came across this thread. Like the original poster, I am also interested in 100ft Double 8mm film, sorry “Vintage 8”.
I also contacted FPP and got a no go.
Is there any update?
I am seriously thinking of putting down good money for a vintage Bolex H8 Rex4. However, reversing and changing every 4min of footage is not what I am interested in. A 100ft roll should yield almost 15min of footage at 16fps, that makes more sense. My farther used to shoot D8mm with his Eumig C3m, no Bolex but still, the films are stunning when projected even after 50 years of storage!
