My SR3 is being weird… it’s only working intermittently and even when it does it seems to only be for a dozen feet then it stops.. Screen goes between showing all zeros to showing feet shot and fps. Also sometimes shows error E 10 on the bottom line (googles it no reference anywhere). Batteries are fully charged. If it’s likely a main board issue I will get a replacement but just don’t want to take the hit if I do t absolutely have to.

Did you ever find out what was going on? I have a similar issue

I have had a similar thing with the charger when using a 110v outlet instead of 230v. check the voltage listed on the charger.

I’ve put up the first load up, I will keep adding to it so check back regularly.. I did put a post up a few weeks ago but some overseas buyers where having issues seeing it on eBay and the fees where extortionate so hopefully this will work better, I’ve reduced the prices to reflect the lesser fees I’m being charged. The motor and electronics board are upgraded SR2 Highspeed. brand new belt installed. I’m pricing it well below market value, the 2 videotaps and wide angle viewfinder are worth £3-4k together.

Hi Julie, correct 80mm fronts and yes the barrel is strong enough to take pretty much any clip on mattebox. I will get you all of the other details over tomorrow and email you additional pictures, are there any specific angles you wish me to cover? thanks

Single or double perf? I think all my daylight spools have almost gone now, might have 10 or so left.. I do have 15 or so 400ft rolls of Kodak 7291 colour negative, there’s some others colour stock down there and decent bit of black and white but can’t remember off hand. Let me know what your preferred sort of stock is, how much you need and I will see what I can spare for you. thanks J

Probably one of the most shootable sets of Zeiss standard speeds. Rehoused by cineovision to look and operate like the mk3 superspeeds. Very compact lenses, all of which have just been serviced, all old grease removed and new grease to match dampening across the set, blades cleaned etc. I have put them on eBay so there’s lots more info and pictures there. Any more info you want please let me know. If you want to try them out on your own setup I will make time available asap for you. I have them up at £24,500, for anyone here on the forum who wants them I would entertain an offer nearer 20k. No vat as this is a private sale. London UK based, could travel if needed, I could also borrow a camera which matches yours to do some test shots so you if required. I would consider lending them out depending on who you are and the project. I would also consider a part trade if needed.

I have listed it on EBay at £5,950 but happy to move it on to another member here for £5250. These are still for sale new on ProAV for £20k with the vat. Very happy boy ? just bought a magnificent Aaton LTR super 16mm and PL mount!! Sold my std Arri SR2 to part finance it, wasn’t sure if it was the right decision but after seeing how clean and quite the Aaton was, I had no choice… Probably going to sell my ultra rare cineovision rehoused S35 Zeiss standard speeds (offers around £20,000 for a UK sale) to pay down some costs, they have just been serviced. The Aaton came with the wooden handle, 3 mags, 5 batteries (3 working), original manual even a Barney but it’s soo quite I’m not sure I will ever use it. Taking her out now to shoot! ?

That’s great thanks David. Any idea on on the specs of the motors? I’m also wondering the motor was if the motor was direct or via any gearing

Hi, does anyone know or perhaps have photos of a dismantled Aaton LTR? im interested specifically in what the drive system is, does it run like a bolex with a 1 revolution per frame ratio or something else. Also I know the motors changed between models but any details on known motors used in them would also be handy. Thanks
