Thanks for all the replies...I ended up with the CP16/R. It has been maintained by Whitehouse AV by the camera man who owned it, and I feel it was a good
deal for me.
The K3 camera is one I have contemplated, but the difference between that one and the CP16R package was about $900, so hopefully I will be able to get a gig soon that will cover the cost of the camera, and get some experience in.
I don't know where it will go, but I am hoping to expand my business to include 16mm. And with the ability to add S16 and a video tap if I get that far is nice.
