Hello, I have a commercial shoot coming up where our actor will be next to a projector pointing at charts and graphs. I have questions about shooting the projector. Here they are... Is their a specific type of projector that would be better to shoot? DLP? LCD LED? Should I get the brightest option? What would that be? If I'm exposing for the projector would that require more output from our production lights? We are in a high rise office building with an open floor plan and fluorescent overheads. We are limited to house power. We will mostly use Kinos and maybe small HMI's? What about color balance? Are the projectors daylight? and can I change them if need be? I am already dealing with the fluorescents and since It's a large space I doubt we will be able to swap out with balanced tubes. Finally, do I need to be concerned about flickering or rolling bars like with a computer monitor? Thanks in advance for your help! Michael

In this review of the Kamerar QV-1 LCD Viewfinder, the reviewer comments on the strong magnet holding the finder to the mounting bracket and demonstrating it by holding the DSLR downwards on the loupe only - LINK. I wonder, is that magnet somehow affecting the LCD screen? Temporarily or maybe over time causing some damage? Didn't some users of s35 adapters for video cameras (remember those? :) ) attach magnet on screen or the viewfinder to un-flip the image? Best Igor

Hi everybody, I'm 2nd ACing a project with Red Dragon and cooke anamorphic and I'm having troubles with the RED LCD on board monitor. The problem is that after setting the 6:5 anamorphic 2X desqueeze the DP sees the frame on his RED LCD kind of cropped. It's like he's seeing the 2:40 aspect ration only in a frame inside the monitor while the rest of the space is just black, and it's not eveng shading like when you shoot 1.85 and you just wanna set the frame guides for anamoprhic, it's just like if only portion of the monitor is used to show the image but the rest is not. It's like seeinga smaller rectangle inside the monitor that shows the image while the rest of the space is occupied by the other infos like media, battery etc etc. Does anybody know if there's an option in the monitor control I can use to fix this problem or if this is normal when shooting 6k anamorphic? (and I'm sorry if the description of the problem might not be clear). Thanks so much in advance, Davide
