  1. Hello Everyone, I have decided to break-up my kit and sell my Sony F35 camera body separately at a highly reduced price than previously listed. The camera body comes with the coveted and ultra rare BandPro wet dock, as opposed to the bulky IF box. In addition to being a lot smaller than the IF box, the BandPro wet dock has four 1.5G HDSDI outputs, to deliver 12 bit 4:4:4, GPIO output, and power output to an external recorder. I am also including a custom-made V-mount battery plate with integrated belt clip, a custom-made AC power adapter, to power the camera from a 120V outlet, and the original top handle. Everything is in good to very good physical condition and 100% functional. Here is the list of items included in this sale: - Sony F35 CineAlta Camera Body Serial #11036 - BandPro Codex CDX-P055 Sony F35 "wet dock" - Custom-made V-mount battery plate with 3 foot (1 meter) cord and belt clip - Custom-made AC adapter with 20 feet (6 meter) cord - Original top handle Here is the link to a series of high resolution photos to see the camera in detail: CLICK HERE I am selling my F35 for a bargain price of $3000 + PayPal fee + shipping. I will also accept Venmo, in which case there would be no PayPal fee. I am located in the San Francisco Bay Area. If you are local, you are welcome to come pick the camera up in a COVID safe environment. I also have extensive experience in packing and shipping delicate items safely everywhere in the world, so domestic or international shipping is not a problem. Should you have any questions, please let me know. Cheers, Igor
  2. The time has come for me to part with my treasured Sony Cinealta F35 camera. This is a legendary camera used in many visually stunning feature films like Tron Legacy, Transformers Dark of the Moon, Real Steel, and one of my personal favorites, Once Upon a Time in Anatolia. To this day the Sony F35 produces one of the most filmic images of any camera thanks to its 4.5K (12.4 megapixel) CCD sensor, global shutter, film-like highlight rolloff and vast color spectrum. I have spent a long time finding the right camera and all the components, some extremely rare, that make up this complete, top of the line, F35 cinematography kit. Some of the rare components are the BandPro "wet dock" (interface plate), made for the Real Steel film production, that replaces the old and bulky IF box and outputs quad 1.5G HD-SDI, along with GPIO and power. Paired with the Codex Onboard Recorder M, this enables the highest quality output from the camera as well as triggering the recorder from the F35 REC button. Although you may find some Onboard Recorders on eBay, without the extremely rare Data Transfer Station to unload the footage, the recorder is basically useless. Codex Data Transfer Stations are nearly impossible to find these days and are very expensive. In this kit I am including everything you need to record, playback, and offload your footage. You just need to add a battery and a lens, and you are ready to go. Here is the list of items included in this sale: - Sony F35 Serial #11036 with 2765 hours - BandPro Codex CDX-P055 Sony F35 "wet dock" - Codex CDX-3010 Onboard M recorder - 3 x 512GB Codex Mags (SSD drives) - Codex CDX-5500 Data Transfer Station - ATTO ExpressSAS H6F0 PCI card (inside Sonnet enclosure) - Sonnet Echo Express SE 1 Thunderbolt 3 enclosure (used to connect the Codex Data Transfer Station to a modern Mac via Thunderbolt 3) - Alphatron EVF-035W-3G Electronic Viewfinder (SDI input from either the camera or Codex recorder. When connected to the Codex you can also review your footage with a LUT) - 2 Ravpower NP-F550 batteries and a USB charger (batteries used to power the Alphatron EVF) - Element Technica EVF mount - ACSE German-made custom baseplate for F35 with power distribution and quick release shoulder pad - Custom-made AC adapter with 20 feet (6 meter) cord - Custom-made V-mount battery plate with 3 foot (1 meter) cord and belt clip - All cables needed to get everything working Here is the link to 30 high resolution photos to see the kit in detail: https://photos.app.goo.gl/ZPoAQ74ej41j162JA (Please note the lens and battery you see in some photos are not included in this kit. They are for demonstration purposes only.) Everything is in good to very good physical condition and 100% functional. The only issue I have encountered is that one of the two outputs from the Codex Recorder is not functioning, however since it has two identical outputs, this is not a problem - I keep the EVF connected to OUT 2. I feel I should mention this to be completely transparent as this is a very rare and unique piece of kit. In fact, I will be very happy to help you get up and running with it as I have learned much about using this equipment throughout the years. Price: $7200 + PayPal fee + shipping. I will also accept Venmo, in which case there would be no PayPal fee. Although I have not posted much here on Cinematography.com, I have been a member of Dvxuser.com since 2004. I have posted many times, purchased and sold many items there, on RedUser.com and on eBay (eBay ID is Samana76). Everyone I have done business with has always been 100% satisfied. You can rest assured you are dealing with an honest and reliable person. I am located in the San Francisco Bay Area. If you are local, you are welcome to come see and pick up the F35 in a COVID safe environment. I also have extensive experience in packing and shipping delicate items safely everywhere in the world, so domestic or international shipping is not a problem. Please look at the high resolution photos and feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

  5. Hello Everyone, After much thought I have decided to put my complete Sony F35 + Codex package up for sale. This is the only Sony F35 kit you will find to have a complete Codex Onboard Recorder package. This includes the Codex Onboard Recorder, 1 512GB + 3 256GB Data Packs, F35 Wet Dock, Control Panel, all necessary cable, the incredibly rare and expensive Desktop Transfer Station (DTS) and an ATTO ExpressSAS H3680 card inside a Sonnet Echo Express Sel case which plugs into any MAC with a Thunderbolt port. The Codex Recorder and DTS both have all available licenses activated: 12bit 444 uncompressed DPX, compressed JPG, ARRI RAW, CANON RAW. The DTS can automatically convert to ProRes422, ProRes444 or other formats on the fly for immediate editing of your footage. Also this is the only recorder that will record everything the Sony F35 can output: uncompressed 12bit 444 up to 30fps and uncompressed 10bit 444 up to 50fps - something that even the Odyssey 7Q cannot do because you need 4 SDI connectors for this last output. In addition to all this, Start/Stop recording can be activated via the record button on the F35. This Sony F35 is a complete OTTO NEMENZ kit with, in addition to other things, 2 custom machined cheeseplates, a machined top cheeseplate with integrated single 15mm rod mount and their spectacular viewfinder mount, which I updated with custom made 3D printed parts. If desired this can be easily changed to the original Otto Nemenz viewfinder setup. I have a great many accessories for sale to make a complete "ready-to-shoot" system. These include: Red One 18-50mm f2.8 lens in great shape, a Carl Zeiss Biometar Jena 120mm f2.8 PL mount lens, a Carl Zeiss Biometar Jena 80mm f2.8 PL mount lens, a Helios 44-2 58mm F2 PL mount lens, Vocas Wooden Handgrip with 150mm offset extender, an Ikan D5 monitor, Zoom H6 recoder with Gator waterproof case and Monster Digital 32GB SD card + Zoom SSH-6 Stereo Shotgun Mic, a 2 stage Chrosziel matte box with french flag, SHAPE 8000 quick-release V-Lock shoulder mount/baseplate, Sony VCT-14 quick-release tripod adapter, O'Connor 50D fluid tripod head, Lensse S5 Dual Follow Focus with speed crank, Lanparte V-mount batteries with charger, Tiffen 4x5.65 full spectrum IRND 1.2 filter, and other items for a truly complete setup. Since I have so many Sony F35 related items for sale I have created a price list with descriptions in PDF format that can downloaded from the link provided below. I believe I am offering these kits at very competitive prices. Everything is fully functional and in exceptional condition. As I said it took me 2 years of trial and error, testing various components, and finally finding the best parts for what I consider the Ultimate Sony F35 Set-Up. I have selected each component carefully and have taken exceptional care of them all. Photos and links to photos of many of my components can be found here below. Here is the link to the price list: http://www.igorbertolucci.com/SONYF35SALE/SONY_F35_Kit_Price_List.pdf As an incentive, with the purchase of multiple kits, or better yet the entire list of equipment, I am able to offer an even better price than the already very competitive prices you see in the price list. If you are interested in purchasing multiple kits please contact me. Shipping will vary depending on the kit(s) purchased and the destination. For the "Sony F35 with Codex Onboard Recorder Kit" WITH the Otto Nemenz hard cases you are looking at around $400 shipping in the US and $800 overseas. Without the cases this price drops substantially as they cases themselves are very heavy. I regularly pack and ship hand-crafted ceramic items all over the world and can pack all the equipment securely and safely in boxes without the hard cases, which will reduce the shipping cost to about half: ~$250 CONUS, ~$500 overseas. Shipping will be from San Francisco.
