Hi, I have a film shoot soon and I we're going with an Arriflex SR3 Advanced with just two original magazines, and in the area we are shooting I located just one SR2 owner with a couple magazines too. Would SR2 magazines be compatible with a SR3 body? Timecode settings are not important to this production. Has anyone tried? Thanks in advance!

Hello all, I just got an sr3 advanced that’s been giving me quite the headache. After fixing gate centering at Italian tech I tested the camera and seem to have a ghosting effect on my footage. Anyone seen this before? Is it shutter sync? (It’s very small but noticeable on the image ) lenses used: 12-120 Zeiss optex (colimate on camera ) 6mm and 9.5mm ultra prime ( thought they were colimate so we didn’t check colimator seems like they are off. So don’t pay attention to the wider shots. Ghosting is apparent on fire tool signal of zoom shot inside and outside o the zoom shot when I come behind a truck ( the metal tubes seem duplicate) Ghosting images : https://imgur.com/a/8mUGEIO any help or leads appreciated! guilherme

Hi all! Just a quick one in regards to my Arriflex SR3 Advanced. The current video tap I have hooked up is the CEI Color 5 Video Assist. Ive been looking into how to make adjustments to the projected image as it is slightly rotated and shifted through the video feed. I know with the Arri IVS system you can make the adjustments by removing the 4 screws by the top handle, but I believe this one is slightly different. Any Suggestions before just digging in? I have already taken it off and made slight adjustments when attaching it back onto the body, but cant get it where it should be. Image focus is fine. If anyone has a manual on this particular model as well, that would be fantastic. The website seems to have been taken down and cant find a manual anywhere! Thanks!! Rhys

Had the negatives scanned, graded, and 2k footage stored in a hard drive. The drive crashed. Data recovery guys were asking a lot of money. I got it scanned again now. I shot this with a focus puller and a driver one early morning on Kodak 200T.
