  1. Super 8 - Wittner Cinetec - Super8 Film - S8 - 16mm - Narrow Film I was surprised they had so much stuff. Cine' film must be more popular in Germany / Europe than the USA. I think this is their earlier catalog. www.wittner-kinotechnik.de: Katalog <><><><> Early porn videotape ad from 1980 with trade in scheme. DDTJRAC / VHS - BETA Print Advertising Archive Daniel D. 2. I was watching the movie Downfall (2004) about Hitler's last days in his bunker. It is an outstanding movie on the subject. They had some German 'tank killer' kids using panzerfaust anti-tank weapons to take out Russian tanks. I had never heard of them, so I looked them up. Whenever I want to learn about a thing, I study it in pictures. I'm not much of a reader. I will do a little reading after I see the photos, but generally I like the photos. The amount of armor the panzerfaust penetrates is amazing. The cone shape design concentrated the explosive charge. The panzerfaust was the model for all future RPG's. Panzefaust means 'armor fist' or 'tank fist.' Here are 111 pages of them if you have an interest... A Survey of Panzerfaust German Anti-Tank Weapons D. D. Teoli Jr. A. C. : D. D. Teoli Jr. A. 4. Hi, I'm listing this item here before auctioning it off on eBay. Up for sale is the 15mm LW support base made by Denz in Germany for the Sony F3. This is a well made and thought out item that I recommend to anyone using the ARRI studio bridge plate standard, although it also comes with 1/4" and 3/8" mounting options. The riser also comes with Hirth rosettes (ARRI compatible) on either side for mounting handle systems. You can find it on the Denz website for more details: http://www.denz-deniz.com/en/premium-products/support-sony-pmw-f3/ Pictures are below. Make me an offer.
  5. Hi Everyone! Looking for some information! I'm an Australian researching a move to Europe to study script writing. My two passions are actually script and set design and I'm looking for film schools that offer great hands on courses. I completed my undergraduate degree with a minor in film and am now looking for some further study opportunities to expand my script writing experience. It doesn't have to be a master's, just an opportunity to write and make new connections in film. Thanks for your time! Kind Regards, Adrianna
  6. Hello everyone, As the title says, I'm a gaffer from Germany, 22 years old and currently train as an event technician at the WDR studios in Cologne, Germany. Event technician is the official term for the apprenticeship, which includes studio work as well as live situations such as concerts and parties. However, most of the time I work as a gaffer in a studio environment. As far as i know the dual education system in Germany is somewhat different to most other countries, so here you can get further information, in case its important. So my contract will end in about a year and i feel like I need a new challenge, see how other people work in order to advance my skills. Anyway, what I wanted to ask you is, whats the best way to get this going? I know that I need to find a job in advance to get a working visa. How do you see that chances of finding an employer who is willing to put himself in the struggle of bringing me to the country? Whats the best platform to look for jobs? I'm glad for every piece of information on this topic as I feel kinda lost in the jungle the breaks open when you google for media jobs. Thanks in advance! Johannes
  7. Hi all, this is the international trailer to my first theatrically released feature film Bela Kiss: Prologue. It currently runs in German theaters. http://www.bela-kiss.com/#en_trailer Staring Kristina Klebe and Rudolf Martin, it was shot mainly on location in Germany, using a Red One camera with Zeiss High Speed lenses. The "found footage" sequences are shot on 16mm black and white reversal with a Bolex H16. It was an independent production with a fairly low budget. Please feel free to comment. Sven
