  1. Mag is in beautiful condition, serviced by Andree Martin at AM Camera. One of the cleanest SR3 mags I've encountered, with only minor cosmetic blemishes on the exterior. Mag has been used on a project this past week and works perfectly. Selling this mag because I have 4 total with my SR3 package and don't have a need for a fourth.   2. Hello, I just got the results from a camera test and I'm a bit puzzled about the format test. The camera assistant shot a 1.66 reference but in the result the limits are way too close to the edge. As you can see in the image attached, the top limit is even outside the film frame! I've done this test before so I know how it should look like and I'm also sure the test was done properly. My question is if anyone has experienced something similar before or has any idea what might be causing this? The camera is an Arri SR3. Thanks!

  9. Just completed post on my first feature, "The Eastsider" (www.theeastsidermovie.com), a comedy/drama set in suburban Detroit. Shot it on Kodak 7222 with the Arri SR3, an amazing camera. Nothing will ever beat the look of celluloid.   12. I'm a film student currently in pre-production for my first 16mm film. We have three rolls of film stock, and can choose from 50T, 250D, 250T and 500D We have three different aesthetics: One indoor scene in a swimming pool, where we will hopefully have 3/4 natural light and I'm hoping we will be able to use 250D Kodak stock, using only natural light. Two outdoor scenes (although in the English countryside, in May) in one of which we are hoping to acheieve a look similar to 70s photographs of Californian swimming pools, such as http://www.latimes.com/features/home/la-hm-backyard-oasis-photos,0,7657842.photogallery?index=la-hm-backyard-oasis-photos-002 while in the other, we are hoping to acheieve a colder 90s style such as this film demonstrates: http://vimeopro.com/yvonlambert/sallatykka/video/40155357 Sorry for the very long post, but does anybody maybe have some advice on which film stock to use?   13. I'm looking to buy a super 16 package in great condition and working order, any one of the following camera kits would be amazing - AATON XTR PROD or XTERRA or ARRI SR3 or ARRI 416. I need the kit to be usable straight away once a lens is added - so no spares or repairs. If anyone knows of any for sale please let me know, other s16 kits considered as well as long as they are ready to shoot once a lens is added. I'm working on a small budget. Thanks, Ian
