As an all rounder, Harry K. Shigeta was one of my favorite of the old school photogs. He could be depended on for taking a fresh approach to a subject and his work was always top notch technically and outstanding for content and art. Sadly, with the young camera fondlers, Shigeta is all but forgotten nowadays. Here is a piece from the May 1947 issue of Popular Photography showcasing some of Shigeta’s work and technique.
