Galen Carter-Jeffrey
I have never made a reel before. Is this any good? What are some tips? https://webspace.utexas.edu/gcj58/Reel.mov
Jonathan Bowerbank
I think for a director's reel you kind of need to show longer sequences to show how well you can craft the little stories within a bigger story. The birthday party was great, I would like to see more of that bloody string coming out of the nose film a bit more, and in sequence. But I'd lose the Santa thing, the quick scene with the dead couple, the wheelchair scene and the stalking car stuff and try and look for more complete scenes that demonstrate your storytelling capabilities :)
