Raymond O'Neil
Shot partly with JVC HD100 and HV20 with Redrock M2 35mm adaptor. Official web-site is not up yet, but you can watch the 480P HD video stream with this direct MOV link: http://www.galioneli.com/theomovie/trailers/theo480p.mov Alternatively you can watch HD stream on Vimeo if you have a problem with the link above. Compression is not too bad, but isn't great either. Color space is a bit distorted. http://www.vimeo.com/825323 Thanks a lot for looking.

I like the color grading. My biggest criticism has to do with the story since after watching it, I have no idea what it's about. You should consider using either voiceover or dialogue from the movie to tie it together and give the viewer some idea of what's going on. Other than that, nice job. note: If you are the DP only and had nothing to do with cutting the trailer then ignore the story comments. --- Tommy Oliver www.TommyOliver.com www.BlackSquirrelfilms.com

We didn't do any color correction yet. It's all in camera what you see so far... I'm not a DP, i was the director so second part of the comments is for me :) Thing is there is nothing really happening in the film in the conventional sense, so you had a correct impression about the trailer. Since this is a cinematography website, I assume that you want us to comment on the visuals only. Looks great, better than great. Bravo! I am also assuming that this is a out of pocket indie project, so how did you deal with the brand name clearances? The McDonald's sign and Mega Millions billboard must have cost a fortune to clear. As an audience member outside of a cinematography website, why should I watch your movie? The trailer tells me nothing. Sure it looks good, but why should I care about Theo? Far too many indie films are all style and lacking on the story side. I really hope yours is not one of them. More dialogue would help.
