What cameras are used for the Super Bowl

Recommended Posts

The Australian 10 network broadcast last Sunday Night's Super Bowl (which was 10AM Monday morning here) in full HD, and the pictures were very impressive.

They also replayed it at 8:30 PM in our evening and I couldn't see any sign of image deterioraton, so I presume what was re-broadcast is an exact digital replica of what they received over the satellite link.

If somebody is going to tell me that's not really 1920 x 1080. it'll do until the real thing comes along!

It looks like they used an awful lot of cameras.

Does anybody know what they actually did use, or direct me to a website with this information?
