DO wind machines do the trick? thanks in advance. fred We did such a shot in the second season of "United States of Tara" for a tornado sequence -- we tied thin lines to the tree branches to manually pull on them, plus we had a big Ritter fan. There isn't really a substitute for a big fan if you have to create wind at any distance from the object. Any big wind scene is going to end up MOS, short of only using the tag lines trick.
