Sky Hopinka
Hi all, I was setting up a new monitor with the ccd video assist, an atmos Shinobi, and after getting all the settings right, I decided to see if I could power it from the lemo2 cable I had instead of using the batteries plugged into the monitor. After plugging it in, the monitor showed it was getting power from the lemo2 cable, but the image froze to the first view of the camera after turning the camera/monitor on. Even after unplugging and plugging everything with the camera back on, the image that would show up on the monitor would be the first instance of what the camera sees when powered on. Sorry if it sounds confusing, I’m trying to find the best way to describe this. But it was working perfectly until that moment. Now, I’m wondering if I blew a fuse or something when I plugged the monitor into the camera with the lemo2 cable, as the monitor was still being powered from its batteries, but I honestly have no idea. The camera still functions normally and works and runs, but it’s just the video output to the external monitor. I also tried another monitor on the camera, and the new monitor with a different camera and they work fine, so I ruled out the monitor being the problem. any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated, thank you! -s
Premium Member Tyler Purcell Posted August 22, 2023 Premium Member Share Posted August 22, 2023 Hey. So what is converting the composite standard definition signal to digital? That's most likely where your problem lies.
