The Cube-Tec Inspection Scanner is interesting.

From what I gather they are more or less the cost of a LG ScanStation...but not really sure. The website, while graphically beautiful, is hard to figure out. Looks to be German made. Has anyone used one in the US of A / or anywhere? I'm still holding out for a 'sampling scanner' that spits out a fast, short synopsis of a reel. (Along with gentle film handling Perry.)

An example of a .20 second sampler scan. I don't remember the space between frames, but it is important. Maybe this sampler is a frame every 1-1/2 feet.
