Nikon 8x Super Zoom - Anyone have a service manual?

I have two of these. They are nice, rugged cameras with a good feature set. They aren't covered in leatherette or vinyl, and that makes them very easy to open. The internal layout isn't unusually dense, and everything seems easy to get to. But I don't know what kind of lube to use. There are many little shafts that I wouldn't be able to grease with PTFE, which is super easy on plastic gears. I'd prefer to use Lavelle 108, which is supposedly plastic-safe and it's got a needle on the bottle that makes delivering lube to the right location very easy.

Anyhow, I'd like to find a manual because I'd like to see what they say about lube, and I'd like to go a little deeper inside. 

Any help appreciated.

ps  I installed a voltage regulator in each camera so that I don't have to fuss with voltage adapters to make new button batteries work properly with the camera. The AA's power the meter now.
