More latitude: Eterna 500t or Expression 500t?

Has anyone done tests on the Fuji Eterna 500 and Kodak Vision 2 Expression 500 with latitude in mind?

 

By the way, in terms of color and contrast, is the Expression 500 closer to the Vision2 250d then the 5218?

Expression is a low-con stock, whereas 250T (5205) and 500T (5218) are normal contrast stocks -- the whole Vision-2 line except Expression (5229) is meant to match each other well (5201, 5212, 5217, 5205, 5218).

 

If anything, 250D is a smidge more contrasty than '18, not less. But otherwise, it looks very similar, just finer-grained.

 

Fuji Eterna is sort of halfway between 5218 and Expression 5229 in exposure latitude / contrast. It's actually very mildly finer-grained than 5218 but because it is lower in contrast, it is also softer-looking than 5218.
