Maya
Hello I'm cinematography student and I would like to ask anyone who can help me to reply this post. I am looking for American Cinematographer article from August 1980 issue - Photographing Stanley Kubrick's The Shining (an interview with John Alcott, DP). I just can't find it anywhere and I need it urgently. If anyone knows the link to that interview, or if anyone has it and could send it to me by email I would appreciate it. Thank you, thank you, thank you...

Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted January 27, 2006 Premium Member Share Posted January 27, 2006 Then I guess it's not available on the web. I have the issue at here at home - do you want me to look something up in it for you? The ASC and AMPAS (Margaret Herrick Library) both have a way of ordering xerox copies. Maya
Well, I need it for my graduation thesis. I looked for it all over (the city I live in), but no luck. I even contacted American Cinematographer by email, but no reply yet. I don' t live in USA, so it makes it harder for me to contact people or institutions that could help me. Can you give me some emails or web addresses? Thank you for your trouble. Maja
