Cheap HMIs

12k HMI for $600

Cheap HMI's are like cheap real estate. It is cheap for a reason.

 

Be careful buying old HMI's, they can be unreliable. If your doing your own work and you want to risk it fine, but if you need them for paying jobs/rentals, you may wnat to get stuff a closer to new.

I bought a 1.2k HMI fresnel & mag ballast from Pyramid last summer and it's worked fine. It was about $1200 and I think it included a used globe.

 

Pyramid has some kind of warranty I think, and they answer the phone when you call.
