Telecine Problem...HELP

Ok. I checked the forums archive first and lots of info on the 2-perf subjuct, but nothing on the telecine process for this... :( Where can it be done...? Will some places do it if I send them a gate. I'm not interested in projection, just telecine to digital format tape. This old techniscope trick sounds perfect for me if only I knew of a solid place that would do the transfer for me. Any in the US? I found one place in Australia, but....that is a long way to go... ;)

I guess it's hard to telecine 2 perf. I don't know.

 

2k scanning shouldn't be a problem. I'm thinking of that for my next project.

Hi,

 

I don't know of any high end scanners that have a 2 perf gate. You could try to scan 2 frames at a time, but don't expect steady images.

 

As I said any Spirit Telecine can handle it.
