Premium Member Michael Nash Posted June 5, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted June 5, 2004 I'm familiar with the 435 up through the "ES" model. What do the "Advanced" model and the Functional Expansion Module 2 offer?
stijnbarbe
That looks very interesting. I guess most steadicam operators will be thrilled with it's light weight. With the tilted 200' mag it looks very 'Aaton'. Arri designed it this way for handheld use, so I'm not far off. I hope a rental house in Belgium will buy one. Mitch Gross
I know of a couple of Steadicam ops who are itching to buy the 235 for themselves. Arri still needs to come up with an adapter plate so that when the 400' mags are mounted they don't drop below the camera base as this will interfere with Steadicam mounting, but that's a minor tweak to be worked out.
