I would think the Konvas would be the obvious Russian choice for an MOS camera. The very early ones had a hand crank, and space for a spring drive- but I have never seen a spring drive for sale. Nice thing about the Konvas is that it pulls B&H or KS perfs, so no compatibility issues there. Take a look at http://www.konvas.com/ and http://www.commiecam.com/ for more information. If you decide to buy one, you might poll Konvas.org members and see which sellers they like.

Yes, Konvas-1 ( KSR-1, KSR-1M, Konvas-automat ) can have hand crank for low speed rotation ( one turn - one frame ) or hand crank for " normal speed " rotation ( shooting with speed 18..24 fps ), have mechanical speed stabilizator inside of body and can have spring drive.

But, spring drive rare device.

If you need 35 mm small size camera with sring motor, i can recommend AKS-1, russian copy of Eyemo.

Good 35 mm cine camera with spring motor, 30 m film spools, variale speed control, but, not reflex system.

The one full spring can run 20..25 sec on 24 fps.
