Matt Sandstrom
Those names all sound German or Scandinavian well, some of the awards are designated as international awards. ivica zubak is an extremely croatian name, and norwood cheek is almost as typically american. the fact that all the winners of the german awards have german names in not very surprising. :-) /matt

Premium Member Alessandro Machi Posted January 31, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted January 31, 2007 Are the films still viewable on the internet Juergen? I think that was a great step making them available on the internet for viewing and voting. If you do a film festival next year can the dropped frames issue can be improved? I've seen short films on the internet in which the frames don't drop. I think certain quicktime codecs are designed to be drop out free. I've seen them on demo tape sites. I suppose it must cost a pretty penny to do it that way. Perhaps you could have two separate Super-8 competitions, one that is judged by judges, and one that would be judged via the internet. Then build in an entry fee to handle the internet Super-8 portion of the festival.
