Hey Guys....

For months I been wanting to collect great books displaying 16mm and 35mm cameras

My great lads, I'll ask you

Any suggestions? Any great Bibles?

It's not exactly a coffeetable book, but the American Cinematographers' Manual is THE bible. It has threading diagrams and info on every (or nearly every) professional film camera that exists.

Long out of print, but fairly comprehensive surveys from Focal Press:

The technique of the motion picture camera / by H. Mario Raimondo Souto.

New York : Communications Arts Books, 1977.

3d rev. and enl. ed.

I think Souto is/was Argentinian.

also:

Motion picture camera and lighting equipment : choice and technique / David W. Samuelson.

London ; Boston : Focal Press, 1986.

2nd ed.
