NathanCoombs
hi all After some frustrating delays and problems I am now happy to say that Super-8 Cities is available in NTSC format. The DVD has been getting great reviews and a lot of interest. Check out the interview on Shooting People: http://www.shootingpeople.org/shooterfilms...w.php?int_id=82 The trailer on YouTube: And the website: http://www.workhorse.tv/super8cities.html All purchases help support meaningful, collaborative, indie cinema and will also help make the sequel project (to be announced soon) a reality. cheers Nathan

Some basic strategies to consider, do you want to sell off all rights to one distributor, or do you want to separate pay TV rights from home video from internet etc. and the duration of the deal is important. What I have found to be the biggest issue in regards to distribution for lower budgeted indy productions is what is most important, upfront money or maximum exposure, because usually you have to choose one or the other. Keep in mind that a digibetacam master, one in PAL, one in NTSC, will probably be required, and I'd recommend having two made of each, but don't do it until you get inquiries since you're probably looking at a thousand bucks in cost. I dont think that will be forthcoming for this project, but it is 3rd party distribution it something I am keen on for CITIZEN SUPER-8! see: http://www.cinematography.com/forum2004/in...showtopic=21126
