Daniel Smith
Pretty impressive stuff. How much do you charge? And, I'm assuming you're using a synth to create the music, what synth are you using? Must be a good one.
Premium Member Kieran Scannell Posted June 8, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted June 8, 2007 Hi Benny, Loved the Nur Ein Kuss! You should PM David Mullen, Michael Nash or some of the other feature DP's on this forum they could do something for you. There's no way Fanfare variations was done on a synth is there? I've forwarded your links to some directors i know in my neck of the woods. Hope you get lucky! Kieran.
Benny Oschmann
@Daniel & Kieran: Thanks guys for your nice comments. Yes, I normally use synths to record my music, but I would love to record my music with a live orchestra. (Unfortunately that is much more expensive :( ) The costs conform with the budget of the film. I don't have a steady charge, so I will discuss the costs with the producer/director. (I have done also some things for free. But please not, that I will compose music for free only, if the project is pretty amazing.) @Daniel: If you are interested in a collaboration please PM me or contact me via mail. I'm sure we can find a fair solution :-) @Kieran: Yes, Fanfare was also done with synths. It was pretty complex to record, but I'm not absolutely content outcome. Thanks a lot for your recommendations to the directors. All the best to you :-) Edited June 8, 2007 by Oschmann
Patrick Cooper
Very impressive! I can really visualise these musical scores being used in dramatic motion picture films.

Benny Oschmann
Added a Source-Music-cue, done for a Western-Saloon-Scene and a short logo-music, I've done last week. Edited October 24, 2007 by benny
Benny Oschmann
It's strange, but I can't edit my replies, so I have to add a new one: Here are the two new cues: Western-Saloon (2007) (Source-Music) BLO-Logo-Music (2007) (Written for a company-logo) I'm desperately looking for new projects. I will also score for No-Budget-Films for free :-)
