J. Scott Portingale
I am starting to shoot super 16. I was reading up on the arri 416 and it said that its' mirror shutter can be adjusted from 45 to 180 degrees. What does adjusting your mirror shutter achieve in a shot? faster shutter speeds? what is the standard angle to shoot at? can you do it on a SR3? Mark Dunn
You can narrow the angle to shoot at a wider stop.
Scott Bryant
Also with a smaller shuttle angle you can get choppy frames that look like saving private ryan. ( i know there are others like this not only spr).
