There's no theoretical reason why a video tap couldn't be custom made for the old finder, but it would be sort of like retrofitting electronic fuel injection on a '51 Volkswagen. At some point, these things become antiques which are better preserved in their original state. Have a look at "Antiques Roadshow" on PBS. Sometimes they tell people things like "Your table now is worth about $650. But if you hadn't re-finished it, it wolud be worth $35,000." -- J.S. The ground glass in the IIA/IIB is academy sized, 16x22mm and is fixed in place. The IIC's is scope sized, 18.7x22mm & is interchangable. The same ground glasses are also used in the ArriIII.
