Premium Member Paul Bruening Posted July 24, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted July 24, 2007 Hey Gang, I have seen mentions of this topic before but can't find them through the search feature. Could you just go ahead and list the labs and post houses that you know can handle Techniscope (2-perf) scanning to 2K and 4K image files? Thanks in advance, Paul

Thanks in advance, Paul Hi Paul, I don't know of anybody scanning as such but any Spirit Telecine can handle the format, some at up to 4k. Premium Member Stephen Williams Posted July 24, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted July 24, 2007 Or with an ARRISCAN Hi Nathan, Is there a 2 perf gate? or do they scan 4 perf & split, not such a good idea IMHO. Stephen

Stephen Crest always used to be the place for unusual telecine stuff -- they could do 65/70, VistaVision, 2 perf, 8mm, etc. They're the first place I'd ask: http://www.crestnational.com/services_post.php -- J.S.
