there is now a lot more choice of lens at panavision, not only scope lens, also a vistavision camera and a lot of accessories homemade by techno.

Really, I didn't realize that that. Will this mean that Panavision will now own more Arri cameras than Pana cameras?

I think this has been the case before already. As far as I know Panavision is the company which owns the most Arri cameras anyway. For cameras like the 435 and 235 Panavision never designed an equivalent for instance, hence why they offer them with a PV mount.

Panavision recently bought AFM Lighting in England, which was one of the three big lighting rental companies. They already own Lee Lighting, so this narrows down the choices to basically two major rental houses for the UK lighting market: Panavision and Arri. And that's not a good thing.
