Kevin Curtin
I'm looking for some films that were mostly lit using practicals to use as a reference point for an upcoming shoot I'm doing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted September 3, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted September 3, 2007 Kubrick's movies, particularly "Eyes Wide Shut". "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" used minimal lighting too.

Jorge Espinosa
Your link was very helpful, Alex; I´m glad you digged it out!. Any other movies with that approach, guys? I´ll be DPing my first feature (indie and on HD with final tranfer to 35mm) in 4 months, and we are starting pre-production in 3 weeks. My intention is to light mainly with practicals. Thanks in advance. Cheers.
