Tom Lowe
Early in the year I thought this year's Oscar for Best Cinematography was going to be dull, but after the release of several Fall films like Lust, Caution and Jesse James, things have become interesting. I also liked Astronaut Farmer and Zodiac. Note: I have not seen Into the Wild. Which four films that you have seen this year should be nominated for Best Cinematography? Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted November 10, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted November 10, 2007 It's a bit early still for guessing, with probably a slew of movies yet to be released. And there are a number of movies I missed this year. I'd say for now that, for me, it comes down to: Across the Universe Assassination of Jesse James Lust, Caution Elizabeth: The Golden Age Caravaggio Runners-up: American Gangster Sunshine 3:10 to Yuma Transformers Michael Clayton Ocean's 13 Pirates of the Caribbean 3 Fracture Pathfinder Zodiak 300 Breach Miss Potter
