Slow Motion on JVC HD200 - How?

Forgive me, i've been through the manual and every setting on the JVCHD200, and I just can't seem to figure out how to get slow-motion out of the thing.

I'm in europe, so I shoot at 25P. I see I can also shoot in 50P, but it's escaping me what the practical use would be of that.

I've tested at 50P, but fail to see results in slow-mo.

If you can run me through the buttons to press, i'd appreciate it.

Best,

Kal

I don't think the camera will play back different frame rates in camera, only at the same frame rate you shot the material. As far as I know you have to shoot the material 50P and create at 24P timeline in post.

In addition to overcranking for slow-mo, you would shoot 50P if you wanted to create 50i material. In post the progressive frames get converted to interlaced fields.
