Guest kalkarman
Forgive me, i've been through the manual and every setting on the JVCHD200, and I just can't seem to figure out how to get slow-motion out of the thing. I'm in europe, so I shoot at 25P. I see I can also shoot in 50P, but it's escaping me what the practical use would be of that. I've tested at 50P, but fail to see results in slow-mo. If you can run me through the buttons to press, i'd appreciate it. Best, Kal

Best, Kal At what rate did you set the playback to? IF you set the camera to shoot at 50p and set the playback to 24p it should be in slowmo. Premium Member Michael Nash Posted November 14, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted November 14, 2007 I don't think the camera will play back different frame rates in camera, only at the same frame rate you shot the material. As far as I know you have to shoot the material 50P and create at 24P timeline in post. In addition to overcranking for slow-mo, you would shoot 50P if you wanted to create 50i material. In post the progressive frames get converted to interlaced fields.
