Hi, I'll like to know which is the preferred stock for shooting low grain interior using

maximun aperture for short deph of field in a scene using tungsten lights.

 

My camera is a scoopic 16mm, I have read some Kodak sugestions but I need some

recomendations from people in the forum.

1) since you are planing tungsten lists you would want one of the "T" stocks.

2) Since you want Big appatures you want a relatively show stock.

3) SInce you want little grain you want a slow stock.

 

SO if yoou can figure out the listing, use your meter to see what ASA you need. If your lighting package is good you can add enough light to be sure of being able to get the look you want at 100T. If you have to make do with the light that is there you may need to use a faster film. You will probaly be looking at 100T, or maybe 200T stock. Fuji and Kodak both make great stock, so the rest comes down to preferences.

Thanks, I will go for the 7212T and and work more on the light levels.

I'd recommend 7217 200T. I like the grain structure of it, overall; you can shoot it outdoors with an 85 rated @ 125 asa (pop on a polarizer and loose 2 more stops to kinda control your iris), and you should be able to light for it on ints without having to bring out super big units.
