Premium Member Michael Lehnert Posted February 10, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted February 10, 2008 Continuing on this thread started John Holland, the BAFTA results are in. Nominated were "American Gangsters" - Harris Savides / "Atonement" - Seamus McGarvey (as I predicted, for the better or the worse) / "The Bourne Ultimatum" - Oliver Wood ( ) / "No Country For Old Men" - Roger Deakins / "There Will Be Blood" - Robert Elwit . And Jonathan Ross proclaimed as winner: "No Country For Old Men" - Roger Deakins A full list can be found here. So... any thoughts (again)? Matthew Buick
I watched that. Roger Deakins certainly deserved the BAFTA.
Mike Simpson
Sweet. I was a pretty big fan of No Country and I'm Happy for Deakins. That being said, Im not sure if I think it should win, but I've been pretty disappointed that Sunshine hasnt really been nominated for any cinematography awards. It really blew me away.
