Bryce Stroud Posted February 25, 2008 Share Posted February 25, 2008 Is there any way id be able to shoot cinemascope (ie. 2.35:1) on the V1 instead of 16:9 or 4:3? or would i have to for eg. measure it out on the LCD screen and then add black bars in post? Hi Bryce, yes that would be the easy/cheap way to do it. But you might be able to find an anamorphic attachment for your lens that works the same way as the lenses used for 2.35 35mm. The question is how are you going to post it then, you'd have to scale it down quite a bit and stretch it by the factor the anamorphic attachment compresses the picture...
