jon lawrence
A friend of mine asked me if I would help him shoot a music video and showed me this video as a reference: I was to how they lit the scene towards the end (about 2:00) with band playing. It looks to me like some unbalance fluorescents from above and in front as well as some fairly lights. I know it's not the best of quality but if anyone could help me out it would me much appreciated. -Jon Edited March 25, 2008 by jon lawrence
Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted March 25, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted March 25, 2008 Honestly, and I'm not the most trained eye on here of course, I'd think it be nearly impossible to tell what that was shot on (if it was even on film in the first place) given the low quality of the video. Even if it was uncorrected flos, the question then becomes which flo it was; each type of tube and manufacturer has a different CRI and "color,' which will render differently. A lot of that "look," was probably massage in a color correction session as well. I'm sure if you can find a higher-quality video reference you'll be able to get more informed answers.
