Premium Member Max Jacoby Posted April 15, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted April 15, 2008 Too bad the 18mm is only coming out later, that's a really useful lens and means that people will have to rent /buy one in the meantime.
Matt Workman
Hmm, I don't pull out the 18mm that much, what are you guys using it for mainly? Its a little distorted for MS of people, I suppose a wide shot in a small apartment? I'm usually on the 25mm as my widest normal shooting. Just curious, I feel left out. Matt
Premium Member Max Jacoby Posted April 16, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted April 16, 2008 Pretty much any lens set that you rent comes with an 18mm. Except for Terry Gilliam no one is shooting close-us with it, but its a very useful lens when you are in tight rooms and need a wide shot. 25mm isn't going to get you there. This goes only to confirm what a stupid dude I am, but the 18 (and I1d really love 13) is the most beautifull of them all. The case? the proof is in the pudding... What you like is an aestetical choice, not an absolute....
