danny mccusker
Hello hello everyone!! So here's my situation. I'm going to be Mali, Africa for about a month shooting a missions trip. The temperature in Mali can get up to 115 degrees. I'll be carrying around a lot of DV tapes, so I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what I can use to keep the DV tapes safe from the heat, dust, etc. Some have told me to look into a pelican case. Anyone have success in temperature climate with these? Appreciate it, Danny
Jonathan Bowerbank
Any kind of insulated airtight/waterproof case with a reflective outer shell should do nicely.

Premium Member David Auner aac Posted April 28, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted April 28, 2008 If humidity is a problem too, you should some silicate sacks in too! (The stuff you get marked as do not eat in various food stuff bag should also be available in larger quantities for the exact purpose. IIRC Pelican sells them as well) Cheers, Dave
