Do some homework and you'll get all the information you need and more.
Deepak Bajracharya
Thank you very much for your kind suggestion and encouraging me to do the search myself that I was completely ignorant of visiting the respective websites. Thanking you once again. Regards,
Premium Member John Sprung Posted May 12, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted May 12, 2008 Here's what I have in my spreadsheet: Arri D 20: 0.935" x 0.702" D-21: Most likely the same, but no direct confirmation Panavision Genesis: 0.930" x 0.523" Thomson Viper: Generic 2/3" Sony Cinealta: Generic 2/3" Varicams: Generic 2/3" Dalsa Origin: 1.339" x 0.677" Red: No exact dimensions given, probably similar to Arri and Genesis Phantom HD: 1.008" x 1.008" Phantom 65: 2.016" x 1.201" SI-2k: Generic 2/3" -- J.S. Rohan Dadswell
The SI-2K is just a bit larger than Generic 2/3. 10.24 x 5.76 mm It doesn't sound much but most lenses designed for 2/3 wont cover this chip. If you want to use them knock the resolution back to generic 1920x1080
