Premium Member Tim Carroll Posted June 16, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted June 16, 2008 Steve, Congratulations on the Arriflex 16M. It's a great little 16mm MOS camera. One of my favorites. With that camera I've used a set of Bogen sticks with a 501 head, but the camera with a 400 ft load is a tad heavy for that set up. Find a tripod and fluid head that will hold twenty pounds and you should be in good shape. Best, -Tim
Ed Sieb
I have an Arri 16M, and this is what I use with it quite successfully. It's available at B&H for under $600. and easily handles a 33lb camera. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/4110...deo_Tripod.html
